Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director, producer, playwright and teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories involve attending rehearsals for plays and observing her mother at working. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, to further her acting career. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's romance with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was included on CNN's list of the Top Television Couples of All Time and was named E!'s Top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
