Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actor as well as a producer and director. The actress is best known for her starring role in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mom was obsessed with films and was able to instill the love of movies in the young girl. Paula took part in school co-curricular events, and she was particularly interested in drama. Her classmates and she played together as well as participated in school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to act during her high school years and she decided to pursue acting for a profession. She went to the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by it. She was assigned a 3 month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. After she had completed her three-month task successfully the first task was in the field of production for television documentaries. After that, she started producing documentaries. She loved her work, but she still wanted to become an actor. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. Over the past few years she's been in a variety of productions and films.
