Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's acting debut was as Flora McGrath. For this role she received the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of eleven. She is the second youngest recipient in Oscar History. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on July 24,1982. She is a Canadian-born actress from New Zealand. Paquin was born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. She moved into New Zealand as a young child. In response to an audition, Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter a Scottish piano player. Flora McGrath is the child of a mute Scottish musician who came from Scotland to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. When she was a teenager, her family moved from Canadian to United States. Paquin was in a brief role in the film's title role when she was just a young girl on Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and a lead part in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams in a 1997 television movie adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding as well as a small role in the role of Queen Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played her polexia Aphrodisa groupie on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
